One More Time
Thursday, May 27th, 2004I received word about the Lead American Counselor (LAC) selections today: I was selected, and will be at the Nagoya camp, from approximately July 5th to August 28th. As I thought might be the case, the Nagasaki camp does not have a Lead AC, and much to my surprise, it seems Jim Healy will not be returning as the AD for the Nagasaki camp.
Nagoya is a long way from Nagasaki, which is a good thing and a bad thing. I know Nagasaki, I know what to expect, and I like it. At the same time, I’ve stayed in the Nagasaki area twice now, and a change of scenery might do some good.. I still don’t know what the actual camp schedule will be like, and probably won’t know until I arrive, so any travel plans I make will have to be made after arriving in Japan.
The countdown begins once again at T minus ~40 days.
